Getting Started

Create Your Account

1. Go to lognow
2. Click Sign In in the top right
3. Choose Sign in with Google or enter your email address
4. You'll receive 200 free credits on your first sign-in — enough for about 200 minutes of transcription

Your First Recording

1. Click the Record button on the home page
2. Your browser will ask for microphone permission — click Allow
3. Start speaking — you'll see your words appear in real time
4. Click Stop when you're finished

Your transcript is automatically saved and available from the home page.

Understanding Credits

Each minute of recording costs 1 credit (rounded up; recordings under 10 seconds are free). AI-generated titles and summaries are priced separately based on actual model usage and are opt-in (off by default). Your credit balance is always visible in the header bar. See Credits & Billing for more details.

lognow works best in modern browsers:

A working microphone is required. lognow requests microphone access when you start your first recording.
